Ruptly to Host World Youth Festival Live Broadcasts

A special Ruptly platform, which will collect various videos, interviews, and live broadcasts, has started its work at the World Youth Festival 2024, Indira Zharova, Head of Ruptly, said in the Press Center of the Festival. 

According to her, the platform is primarily focused on journalists and bloggers, but is also available for all those who want to keep up to date with the events of the Festival. 

"We have all the possibilities to cover the Festival, we are ready to take on the whole technical side," Indira Zharova noted.  

According to her, the agency is ready to help journalists and bloggers in several directions. Thus, special content has already been created, including shooting beautiful views of Sochi and the Sirius Federal Territory, filming the arrivals of delegations, recording interviews with participants. 

"These are stories that you can download and use in your news stories and Social Media. The only condition is that you need to pre-register and get access," emphasized the head of the agency. 

Another type of service is live broadcasts, which will start in the coming days. 

"With the help of our platform, you will be able to start live broadcasts of events in social medias. It is done simply, literally in a few clicks," Indira Zharova added.  

Another opportunity for journalists and bloggers to tell their audience about the World Youth Festival is to book slots in Ruptly studio for live and recorded interviews. For example, the agency can help record standup or shoot interviews. There are three cameras in the studio. The client, according to Indira Zharova, will receive either the edited recording or the original footage. 

"All services are provided by us at no cost. We are a commercial organization, but in this case, we believe that working at the World Youth Festival is our social mission," stressed the head of the agency. 

According to Indira Zharova, not only professionals, but everyone can watch the materials posted on the platform. The footage and interviews will be available for two more weeks after the end of the Festival.  

According to the head of the agency, Ruptly provides materials to the media all over the world. The agency has experience in accompanying first persons of state, filming cultural and sporting events, working with archives and documentary videos. The agency also works in different languages.

The World Youth Festival is taking place in the Sirius Federal Territory on March 1–7, 2024, in accordance with the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin in order to develop international youth cooperation.

20,000 young leaders in education, science, international cooperation, culture, volunteering, charity, sports, business, media, etc., including 10,000 foreign participants, will take part in the WYF 2024. For the first time in the history of the festival movement, teenagers from 14 to 17 years old will have the opportunity to join the event, including 500 from Russia and 500 from abroad. 

The organizer of the World Youth Festival is the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the operator of the WYF 2024 is the Directorate of the World Youth Festival.
