WYF 2024 Is a Platform for Art — Over 2,500 Young Artists Apply for Art.Youth Festival

The World Youth Festival will be a platform for young artists. The Art.Youth Market and Exhibition will run all days of the WYF 2024. More than 2,500 artists, designers and craftspeople expressed interest in participating in the Festival.

Applications came from all over the world. Young people from 110 countries, including Argentina, Turkey, Vietnam, Germany, Indonesia, South Africa and others, expressed their desire to exhibit their works at the WYF 2024. Foreign and Russian artists will present original works and demonstrate their skills in painting, graphics, digital and kinetic art, installation, sculpture, and video art. The exhibition will be a large gallery of contemporary art. It will be open to all participants and guests of the WYF 2024.

The market will be an international mall with diverse products from young designers and local entrepreneurs. WYF 2024 participants will not only see, but also purchase accessories and clothes, handmade cosmetics, decor, jewelry, books and household goods.

Artists, painters, sculptors, designers, manufacturers, and representatives of local brands aged 18 to 35 years are invited to particate in the Art.Youth Festival of Young Art. The jury will select the best works that 20,000 young people from all over the world will see at the WYF 2024.

The organizer of the Art.Youth Market and Exhibition will be the Tavrida Art Cluster. The project is supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.

Overview:

The World Youth Festival will take place in 2024 according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. At the first meeting of the Organizing Committee chaired by Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration, it was decided to hold the Festival in the Sirius Federal Territory.

20,000 young leaders in education, science, international cooperation, culture, volunteering, charity, sports, business, media, etc., including 10,000 foreign participants, will take part in the WYF 2024. For the first time in the history of the festival movement young people aged 14-17, 500 from Russia and 500 from abroad, will have the opportunity to participate in the event.

The World Youth Festival is organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and operated by the World Youth Festival Directorate.
