5 March 2024, 15:59

People's Artist of the Russian Federation, winner of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, artistic director of the Moscow Guberniye Theater Sergei Bezrukov told the participants of the Znanie.Pervye educational marathon about Russia's cultural code and its peculiarities. The creative meeting with him took place within the framework of the thematic track "Saving the family for future generations" on March 5, the fourth day of the flagship marathon of the Russian Znanie Society. The platform for communication was the Kazan Pavilion of the World Youth City in Sirius, where the World Youth Festival is being held.

The cultural code of Russia is a set of values, norms, customs, traditions and historical features that form a special culture and way of life of the Russian people. Talking about it, Sergei Bezrukov drew the attention of young people to the fact that to understand the soul of the peoples living in Russia, it is necessary to travel a lot around the country and read classical literature.

"Compassion, forgiveness, spirituality, family values, honoring one's kin - all this is in our character. Duty, honor, the ability to self-sacrifice for the sake of another, even in times of adversity to give the last shirt", - said Sergei Bezrukov.

According to the cultural figure, today's Russian youth understands that happiness is not in wealth, but in usefulness and service to people.

"Our man is always ready to share happiness. At the same time, everyone's happiness is different: mine is in serving people. My profession pleases a huge number of viewers - this is happiness. And I also feel happiness when my students make their first steps on stage and in the movie, " - said Sergei Bezrukov.

The participants of the creative meeting listened to Sergei Bezrukov's words with interest. The guys wanted to understand what skills should be developed for professional success in acting. A young man from Samara asked what the speaker sees as the difference between preparing for a theater performance and shooting in the cinema.

"For me there is no difference between the movie and the stage. It is necessary not to play, but to live: 20% of the role is feelings and emotions, which is absolutely impossible to imitate. And in general there is no difference, the only thing is that in the theater you need to be a little louder, "- explained Sergei Bezrukov.

Maria from St. Petersburg asked to explain what advice the actor and family man can give to a young couple who just got married. And that's not all that interested young people. They asked questions about their favorite poems, the actor's mentors, and the upbringing of children.

"It is important that children from childhood see how parents work. They should treat animals carefully and understand that they are responsible for them. It is important to tell children about their ancestors, to teach them their native language, to know the anthem of their homeland. To know and teach children original, real, national - this is the main thing, this is the energy that keeps us safe",  - said Sergei Bezrukov, talking to the children.

At the end of the creative meeting, the People's Artist of the Russian Federation noted that children should be taught empathy - including going to the theater with them and empathizing with the characters together. To confirm his words, Sergei Bezrukov read a poem by Alexander Pushkin about the true purpose of creativity: "I have erected a monument to myself".
