Registration of Russian and foreign participants is open until December 1, 2023. 20,000 young people from Russia and abroad will have the opportunity to be a part of the largest youth event of the next year.

The application campaign for participation in the World Youth Festival has been running since June 24, 2023. During this time, people from more than 180 countries around the world have applied to participate.

"Over 190,000 people from around the world have already applied, including over 50,000 teenagers aged 14 to 17. This shows not only the interest of young people and the younger generation, but also the demand for a large platform for youth dialog. It means that young people want to work together with their voices, opinions, ideas and determination to create a just and multipolar world. Everyone who wants to contribute to building a common future has one more month to apply for the World Youth Festival," said Ksenia Razuvaeva, Head of Rosmolodezh.

Registration of participants is open on the official Festival website at  fest2024.com.. After registering, applicants will be asked to create a portfolio in their Account listing their field of activity, achievements, projects and interests, write an essay on one of the Festival topics and record a self-introduction video, which is a short story showing the applicant's motivation to participate in the Festival.

The selection process for teenagers is similar, but they will also have to record a self-introduction video presenting their socially significant project, take an online test to determine the profile proficiency and be interviewed by representatives of the Children's Selection Committee. For the first time in the history of the festival movement there will be a teenager track. 500 children from Russia and 500 children from abroad will be able to take part in it.
