The International Gala Concert "Studvesna" united the participants of WYF 2024 on the site of the World Youth City

On March 4, 2024, the International Gala-Concert "Studvesna" - took place at the Gastrostage of the World Youth Festival in Sochi, a concert performance of the Russian Student Spring, the largest non-professional youth creativity festival. The uniqueness of the program is that it was created especially for WYF-2024, which is shown only once within the framework of this Tour.

"The festival "Russian Student Spring" is one of the large-scale creative events of student life in our country. Today, a concert program of the Tour was shown on stage, which was staged by the directing and production group especially for the World Youth Festival. More than 100 students from 10 regions of Russia became artists of the International Gala Concert "Studvesna". Creativity knows no bounds. It unites all those who are not indifferent regardless of geography, age and culture",  Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Olga Petrova added.

The artists of the Tour were creative collectives from Russia, Malaysia, Georgia and South Ossetia, who presented the best vocal and dance performances. From Russia, representatives of 10 regions of our country took part in the concert program: Chuvash Republic — Chuvashia, Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar Region, Moscow City, as well as from Kemerovo, Tyumen, Lipetsk, Tambov, Kursk, and Chelyabinsk regions.

"The International Gala Concert represents three semantic blocks: "Friendship. Love," "Goodness. Mercy. Peace" and "Culture. Traditions. Legacy." All these values are carried by the festival "Russian Student Spring", a project of the Russian Youth Union. The regional selection stages of the festival have already started all over the country. This means that after WYF-2024 we will continue to enjoy the creativity of students, and we are waiting for the best participants at the National finals in May-June in Saratov and Stavropol", noted the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Youth Union Alexey Krivytskyi.
The director and production group of the project was headed by Vladimir Belenov - director, general producer of the Directorate of Cultural and Social Projects (Kultproekt), director of the Closing Ceremony of the Russian Student Spring.

The concert program was ended with a rendition of the song "Forever Young," performed in various languages from around the world.
Let's note that the organizers of the Gala concert are: the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Public Organization "Russian Union of Youth".
"Russian Student Spring" is a program of support and development of student creativity, which has been implemented on the territory of the Russian Federation since 1992 and includes more than 80 regional and 10 All-Russian events. About 1,500,000 students representing more than 1,200 educational organizations from all regions of the country participate in the Program every year.

The World Youth Festival is taking place in 2024 according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. At the first meeting of the Organizing Committee chaired by Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration, it was decided to hold the Festival in the Sirius Federal Territory.

20,000 young leaders in education, science, international cooperation, culture, volunteering, charity, sports, business, media, etc., including 10,000 foreign participants, will take part in the WYF 2024. For the first time in the history of the festival movement young people aged 14-17, 500 from Russia and 500 from abroad, will have the opportunity to participate in the event.

The World Youth Festival is organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and operated by the World Youth Festival Directorate.
