The international community of young entrepreneurs will be the legacy of WYF-2024

On March 5, the World Youth Festival became the center for the creation of the International Community of Young Entrepreneurs. In the World Youth City, young entrepreneurs from Russia and foreign countries signed a declaration on creating a large-scale community. The ceremony took place as part of the strategic session of the business track of the festival “United Front: Consolidation of World Business”.

The ceremony was attended by business representatives from 36 countries. The technological partner of the community at the festival is the Social Media of Russian businessman Semyon Tenyaev TenChat. After the verification procedure, each participant will have the status “Rosmolodezh Ambassador” on their page, which will become a distinction mark of the international community. Among the criteria for registration in the community are age from 18 to 35 years, the presence of an officially registered business, a high trust rating, a desire to integrate into the international business community, and commitment to the principles of sustainable development.

“The World Youth Festival has become an excellent platform for creating an International Community of Young Entrepreneurs. During the festival, young entrepreneurs from different countries met, exchanged experiences, ideas and best practices, and also established new contacts and partnerships. At the festival, special events were organized for young entrepreneurs, where current business issues were discussed. The community will become the legacy of the World Youth Festival, and in the future, on a specially created platform, which will be a center for the exchange of knowledge, experience and resources, will help participants develop their businesses, study the business environment of each state, help entrepreneurs enter new markets, expand their a network of contacts and reach new heights in their entrepreneurial activities,” said Advisor to the Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Oleg Makarov.

The prerequisites for creating a community for young entrepreneurs from all over the world were the initiatives of the participants of the II Youth Forum of the CIS and EAEU, which was held last June in Sochi. Eight initiatives were supported by the vice-premiers of the CIS and EAEU member states, one of them was the project of Irina Simonova, an entrepreneur and member of the Rosmolodezh.Business Young Entrepreneurs Club. Today she is developing the tools of a special platform where community residents will communicate. Among the opportunities that the platform will provide: posting information about the business environment, brands and businesses in member states of the International Community, a “contract exchange” service indicating demand and supply, the ability to search for new partners and ideas, a single communication platform, as well as a single database economic events around the world.

“The international community of young entrepreneurs is sure to become a young and powerful organization because young entrepreneurs from different countries understand the new world better. For example, they know how to showcase their products and find new opportunities in different countries. Young entrepreneurs are more sensitive to new technologies, science and business opportunities,” said the Chairman of the International Cooperation Committee of the Association of Chinese EMBA Alumni of World Business Schools Liu Xin.

“My company is involved in the energy sector, and I am also involved in a technology startup. I really want to join the International Community of Young Entrepreneurs. And this is exactly why I came to the festival,” – Elizam Salomon Viao, an entrepreneur from Togo, shared his impressions.

“I am developing a mobile application using artificial intelligence. I want to become part of a youth community where I can find like-minded people with similar views, beliefs and passion for doing large-scale projects in the entrepreneurial field,” said Jin Lee from Singapore.

The Declaration on the creation of the International Community of Young Entrepreneurs on the Russian side was signed by the Rosmolodezh.Business Club of Young Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian public organizations “Support of Russia” and “Business Russia”, the Club of Young Industrialists, the Russian Youth Chamber, the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs and the Captains Charitable Foundation. Representatives of delegations from the CIS countries and China put their signatures on the document.

The community will help its members expand their business networks, increase visibility and attract investment, which will contribute to the development and growth of their businesses. Ultimately, the international community of young entrepreneurs will stimulate innovation, economic growth and job creation.

The World Youth Festival is held in accordance with the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin to develop international youth cooperation. At the first meeting of the Organizing Committee chaired by Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration, it was decided to hold the Festival in the Sirius Federal Territory.

20,000 young leaders in education, science, international cooperation, culture, volunteering, charity, sports, business, media, etc., including 10,000 foreign participants, will take part in the WYF 2024. For the first time in the history of the festival movement, teenagers from 14 to 17 years old had the opportunity to join the event, including 500 from Russia and 500 from abroad. 5,000 volunteers from all regions of Russia, including 228 residents of the LPR, DPR, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions be involved in the organization and delivery of the Festival. The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) is the organizer of the World Youth Festival, with the Directorate of the World Youth Festival serving as the operator for WYF-2024.
