Media Accreditation Opens for the World Youth Festival

Media accreditation opens on November 1, 2023, and will last until January 15, 2024. Media representatives can register through the WYF 2024 website at https://fest2024.ru/media.

Russian media representatives and bloggers, as well as foreign media representatives accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, are invited to cover the World Youth Festival.

During the Festival, the International Media Center will be set up in the Sirius Science and Art Park. Workstations, recording and broadcasting studios, as well as rooms equipped for press conferences and briefings will be arranged for the convenience of journalists.  Journalists and bloggers will be able to visit all the Festival venues in the Sirius Federal Territory and interact with speakers, participants and volunteers.

"We will ensure media access to all the most interesting events and speakers. Media Center volunteers will also be on hand to help. The Media Center will meet all international standards. We also plan to organize media work that will set a new standard in the coverage of major events. Media accreditation opens today, on November 1. Register on the official WYF 2024 website and become part of the biggest youth event of the next year," said Ksenia Razuvaeva, Head of Rosmolodezh.

Overview:

The World Youth Festival will take place in 2024 according to the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of international youth cooperation. At the first meeting of the Organizing Committee chaired by Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration, it was decided to hold the Festival in the Sirius Federal Territory in March 2024. Then there will be the regional program of the World Youth Festival, where 2,000 foreign participants will visit 30 Russian cities.

20,000 young leaders in education, science, international cooperation, culture, volunteering, charity, sports, business, media, etc., including 10,000 foreign participants, will take part in the WYF 2024. For the first time in the history of the festival movement young people aged 14-17, 500 from Russia and 500 from abroad, will have the opportunity to participate in the event. Registration of participants is open at fest2024.com until December 1, 2023.

5,000 volunteers from all regions of Russia, including 228 residents of the LPR, DPR, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions will be involved in the organization and delivery of the Festival. Registration of volunteers is open on the ДОБРО.РФ platform until December 1, 2023.

The World Youth Festival is organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and operated by the World Youth Festival Directorate.
