Description of the event
How can we learn to understand each other in a diverse and contradictory world? International confederation of theatrical unions and the Laboratory of young directors of the CIS, Baltic states and Georgia believe that theater can become a universal language.
Under the guidance of honoured art worker of the Russian Federation Vladimir Pankov, who heads the Center for drama and directing, participants from nine countries came up with the play "Chekhov" based on the stories of the Russian classic writer. And they play it in their own language. You will be able to see how different ideas add up to one common meaning, how cultures intertwine, how actors speak important things together in nine languages.
