Description of the event

The world is in a state of acceleration in the development of science and technology, which is a key driver of the economy. Advanced developments are qualitatively changing our way of life and increasing inequality due to limited access to innovations.

In the context of growing international tensions, technological and economic blocs emerge. The aim of the session is to identify key trends in technological development as an important factor in the system of international relations and the world economy. Their opinions will be shared by:

- Connie Rahakundini Bakrie, Director of the Maritime Department, National Archives of Indonesia
- Irina Kiseleva, Analyst at the Center for European Studies, Institute of International Studies, MGIMO Institute of International Relations, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Zhou Zhuowei, Ph.D. Candidate, Tsinghua University
- Alexander Chekov, Research Fellow, Center for Euro-Atlantic Security, Institute of International Studies, MGIMO Institute of International Relations, Russian Foreign Ministry
