Description of the event

The film is based on real events that took place in Yakutia in 1910. 

Summary: Early 20th century, Yakutia. Stepan, an outwardly healthy man, suffers from a strange ailment: attacks of lethargic sleep, which can overtake him at any moment and for a long time. Only one person, artist Ivan, can distinguish it from death. Not wanting to be buried alive, Stepan decides to follow Ivan on a picturesque ethnographic expedition.
